Capacity & Resources
Turfrey employ a full time waged team of more than 230 construction industry professionals. We own a wide range of scissor lifts, boom lifts and other access equipment, excavators, trucks, safety and edge protection systems and other associated plant and machinery to carry out simultaneous projects.
With our 5 branches, being geographically spread allows flexibility and the ability to complete projects across the North Island.
Health and Safety –Â We take health and safety seriously.
Turfrey has a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System, which is implemented throughout the company. In addition, we work closely with our clients to drive continuous improvement and to ensure best practice health and safety procedures are in place on all of our projects.
We are committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of those who work for and with us, as well as ensuring no member of the public is exposed to hazards as a result of our activities. We members of Site Safe New Zealand, have accreditation with ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices, and are approved contractors for NZ Police, Schools, NZ Defence Force, Countdown, Mobil, Fonterra and many other reputable companies and organisations.
Safety is a part of our culture. All of our people understand that acting safely, both on site and off, is a personal responsibility. We will not condone unsafe practices and we will not turn a blind eye if we see something unsafe happening.
Our trades staff are Site Safe Commercial Passport Holders, have NZQA Safe Working at Heights training as well as other industry safety qualifications.
